    Our company was founded in 2011 by Mr. Robert Smith, principal initiator and precursor of the commercialization and import of solid fuels in Mexico, such as petroleum coke, metallurgical coke, thermal coal, steel coal, anthracite, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since 2017 we are part of the AMCI group, with this Magnusson it becomes the preferred platform of AMCI to do business in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Currently, we continue to contribute to the development of the solid fuel industry in Mexico, with a steady and highly experienced work team to meet the needs of our customers with a constant commitment to ensure the supply and safe delivery of material.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Establishes the company Magnusson Coke and Minerals, S de RL de CV, and continues to represent in Mexico international companies such as Alpha \/ Contura Coal Co., CMC and AMCI Group.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    2000 \u2013 2008<\/span><\/div>\n

    Along to “Centralia”, our founder participated as a representative of the company Peabody, in the sale of tons of coal from Colorado to C.T Coal II of the Twentymile Coal Company mine.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    1999<\/span><\/div>\n

    Founded “Centralia”, one of the first companies in Mexico dedicated to the import and commercialization of solid fuels, having a great diversity of products. <\/p>\n

    Leading company, which became the most important company in the market in Mexico as far as solid fuels are concerned.<\/p>\n

    11 years after its foundation Centralia it’s sold in order to start new projects within the same industry.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    1995 \u2013 1999<\/span><\/div>\n

    Becomes a supplier of thermal coal from the coal zone of Coahuila to the C.T. Coal II in conjunction with “General Mining Company of Coahuila, S.A. of C.V.<\/p>\n

    His main clients were companies such as CFE, AHMSA and cement companies in South Texas.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    1991 \u2013 1992<\/span><\/div>\n

    Sold the first imported petroleum coke to CEMEX, the first cement maker to convert from fuel oil to solid fuels, and for the next 10 years was involved in the conversion of all other cement companies to petroleum coke, Holcim Apasco, Moctezuma and finally Cruz Azul.<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    Our founder Robert Smith made the first sale of imported coal to CFE 300,000 tons of Wyoming coal from the Shell Mining Buckskin Mining Co. (Subsidiaries of Shell Petroleum) for the “C.T. Lopez Portillo “in Nava, Coahuila<\/p>\n<\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
